Custom panel glide blinds use wide fabric panels that slide sideways along a multi-channel track. We measure and install panel glide blinds across Sydney for sliding doors, wide windows and large glass openings that need a clean, streamlined covering.
Designed for wide openings: Panel glide blinds are particularly suited to sliding doors, wide windows and large expanses of glass.
Made-to-measure configuration: The track, panel quantity, finished width and drop can be planned according to the dimensions of the opening.
Flexible stacking: Depending on the available track configuration, panels may stack towards one side or use a split opening.
Light and privacy control: Moving the overlapping panels allows you to adjust the amount of window coverage, daylight and privacy.
Streamlined appearance: The broad vertical panels create a clean and uncluttered alternative to window coverings with narrow slats.
Fabric choices: Available colours, textures and opacity levels can be selected according to the room’s privacy and light-control requirements.
Depending on the current fabric range, panel glide blinds may be available in blockout, light-filtering and sunscreen fabrics. Blockout fabric provides greater privacy and room darkening, while light-filtering fabric softens incoming daylight and keeps the room brighter.
Sunscreen fabric, where available, can reduce glare and retain an outside view under suitable daytime conditions. It generally does not provide complete privacy at night when interior lights are on.
Because individual panels overlap, the finished system may still have small light gaps around the panels or edges. The final result will depend on the selected fabric, panel overlap, mounting position and track configuration.
During your free measure and quote, we assess the finished width and drop, number of panels, stacking direction, track configuration, mounting position and required floor clearance. Your panel glide blinds can then be professionally installed for correct alignment and smooth operation.
